Hi, my name’s JoAnna and I’m a brand storyteller. (And yes, I realize that proclaiming myself a “brand storyteller” is basically the copywriter’s version of calling myself a “mixologist” rather than a bartender. But sometimes a title just feels too damn good when you put it on, so here we are.) It’s nice to meet you.
Allow me to cut to the chase:
Most brands are BORING.
It’s not that their product or service is sub-par, or that they’re destined for failure. It’s just that they haven’t found their OOMPH factor yet. (And I don’t like to brag, but ya girl can uncover some OOMPH.) For starters, think of your brand as a living, breathing thing – a person, even.
Because it’s 2018, baby! In a virtually endless sea of online businesses, it isn’t enough to be informative and organized. Brands need to be relatable and trustworthy, savvy and bold… They need to be GENUINE and form real, visceral connections with their communities. You should be able to hear their *VOICE* with your eyes.
And that, my friend, is where I come in…
